What started as a quick stop at the retail giant for a member of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office devolved into a strange scene and led to the subsequent arrest of 19-year-old Grant Egan, who exposed himself to other customers.

According to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office, a deputy in plain clothes was perusing the aisles at Walmart in the North Stafford Complex on Wednesday night when a woman approached him to advise that a man was walking around the store and putting on a show.

The deputy leapt into action, made a call to his buddies in blue, and launched a search for the suspect.

Reinforcements arrived at the store and a coordinated effort led to the apprehension of Egan, who was also caught with a vape.

Officials noted that arresting deputies and at least two other witnesses reported seeing the 19-year-old with his genitals exposed.

Egan was charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and underage possession of tobacco. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 secured bond.
